What Is Easiteach?

The Easiteach family includes nine different software titles inspired by teachers and developed specifically for interactive whole-class teaching. Since its introduction we have continued to develop and enhance it in response to customer feedback. All Easiteach software has been developed jointly with teachers and teaching experts.

RM is committed to continuing to extend the Easiteach family of software. There are two elements to the Easiteach family:

Easiteach Tools

Easiteach is a flexible whole-class teaching tool and offers a set of generic tools at the core of each of the subject specific teaching tools. It is powerful and flexible software that allows you to manipulate objects in use and edit mode. You can create resources that incorporate text, clipart, animations, videos, flash files, sound, hyperlinks, databases and spreadsheets. It includes all the essential tools that you need to create interactive lessons for use throughout the curriculum e.g. draw, edit text, change colour, enlarge, rotate, cut, copy, paste, animate plus a multimedia bank.

Subject-specific Tools

The subject-specific tools are inspired by teachers and teaching experts and are ideal for creating exciting and engaging lessons. These tools are easy to use, flexible software equivalents of familiar teaching tools that you already use in the classroom, for example place-value cards for Maths, sentence builder cards for Literacy, map building tools for Geography and stopwatch and timer tools for Science.

Easiteach Content Packs

These are packs of ready-made lesson activities for use with your interactive whiteboard. Each activity has comprehensive teaching notes, curriculum objectives and suggestions for further work. These resources have been developed with teaching experts and are suitable for a range of learning styles. They are highly visual, easy to modify and update to suit your needs.

Network Installation

You can install Easiteach onto your network. We recommend that Easiteach is installed onto each station individually.

Further Information

All teachers based at a school with a site licence can install this software onto their personal computers whilst they are at that school. A primary school that builds up to 20 licences automatically qualities for a subject tools Primary School site licence.
The Content Packs are sold as site licences only, but you only need to purchase the number of related Subject Tools licences that you need.
