Easiteach Early Steps Overview
Easiteach Early Steps in Literacy Content Pack provides a wealth of resources
designed for use with Easiteach on an interactive whiteboard or other interactive whole
class teaching technology.
The main focus of the pack is to provide teaching resources to
encourage the development of phonics skills. The materials
include support for key phonics schemes, such as Jolly Phonics
which use the Synthetic Phonics method, popular for teaching all
students, including students with specific learning disabilities. In addition there is support for
the Progression in Phonics and Code Breakers schemes.

- 10 Illustrated nursery rhymes and related activities.
- In excess of 150 whole class teaching files on phonics development, including support for phonics progression, including Jolly Phonics and Code Breakers schemes. The files can be used as provided, or fine-tuned and adapted to meet specific teaching and/or learning focus.
- 8 Interactive activities from the popular Big Bus range of materials.
- A series of games including 'Phonic Football', 'Feed the Dragon', 'Word search Creator and Player' and 'Word Wall' to support phonics activity in a whole class or group teaching environment.
- 20 whole class teaching files on popular themes, such as 'You and Me' and 'Odd one out'.
- A selection of clipart for teachers to use in their own materials, and which has been commissioned specifically to support pupils in this age group.
All the materials are made available in an easy to access index system, designed for use in an interactive whiteboard environment.
