Staff Training Options for
Easiteach
We have a variety of training courses available for
Easiteach. Courses are managed and/or hosted by our in-house trainer Kellie
who holds a Bachelor of Journalism, Certificate IV Business Frontline
Management and Certificate IV Assessment & Workplace Training. She is also
fully certified to deliver Easiteach and its content. The course options are
as follows:

Beginning Easiteach - Introduction and Familiarisation |
Attendees will
be able to begin using all the features of the main Easiteach
Toolbar and will be able to begin planning and teaching interactive
lessons using Easiteach software.
The Introduction and Familiarisation course can be delivered in a
variety of formats:
- Half day (perfect for
after school sessions or staff meetings)
- Full day (the ideal
solution, teachers will have time to create their own content)
The amount that is covered
differs by the length of the course. All courses cover the Easiteach
basics including: features of Easiteach, toolbars overview, creating
interactive lessons, glass mode, content packs and help and support.
The half day and full day courses include content creation. Teachers
will complete an Easiteach tutorial that will teach them some of the
skills required to create their own interactive lessons. They will
also be given time and
support to begin creating their own interactive content. If your
school has also purchased Easiteach TeamBoards we will also cover
the setup, general operation, and care of the boards. The full day
course also includes introductory
subject specific toolbar training.

Intermediate
Easiteach - Content Creation |
Attendees will become adept at
using the Easiteach studio. They will be able to create
interactive content and deliver lessons using interactive
technology.
The Intermediate Easiteach Content Creation Course can be
delivered in a variety of formats:
- 2 x 3 hour sessions (this gives attendees time to develop
content and hone their skills in between sessions)
- Full day (will include time for individual content
creation with support)
The Intermediate Easiteach Content Creation Course involves
the attendee developing their own thirteen page Easibook
following a step by step tutorial. At the end of the course
the attendee will walk away with creative, interactive
content that can be applied to their own classroom teaching.
Topics covered include: Easiteach basics, handling text,
altering graphics, using edit and use mode, line tools,
locking, aligning objects, grouping objects, highlighting
text, adding sound, animation, linking, backgrounds, text
frames, bullet points, styles, fading, adding video, merging
and using the resource banks.

Advanced Easiteach
- Mastering the Toolbars |
|
Attendees will develop their existing
Easiteach skills, work with the rest of the toolbars and
become adept at accessing interactive resources via the web.
The Advanced course is to be completed in
one day.
Attendees will participate in advanced
training including:

using the advanced features of the Easiteach toolbar
-
mastering all of the functions on the complete toolbar set
-
designing their own Easiteach lessons using the complete
toolbar set

locating and applying resources from the internet

Specialist Easiteach
- Topic Specific Training |
Attendees will become adept at
using the Easiteach studio directly related to the topic or
age group that they are teaching.
The Specialist Easiteach Training takes parts
of the Beginning and Intermediate training and applies them
to suit specialist needs. This course is open to the needs
of the school and teachers. We will tailor our Professional
Development to suit whatever your school desires. Prices are

Train the Trainer |
Attendees will learn how to
develop
the Interactive Whiteboard and Easiteach skills of others in
their school.
The Train the Trainer course is a whole day course,
participants will:
- Become proficient using all Easiteach toolbars and
advanced functions
- Use prepared notes to teach others basic, intermediate and
advanced Easiteach skills
- Learn techniques for
developing engaging interactive
lessons
- Develop their ability to encourage their peers to work in
teams, problem solve and review
- Promote 'hands on learning' and create units of work and
assessment tools linked to state curriculum/ syllabus

The Full Monty |
|
Attendees will have the ability to mentor other staff and implement
whole school change. They will be proficient across all areas of
Easiteach and IWB's.
The Full Monty three day course combines
extended versions of the Introduction and Familiarisation courses.
The third day takes elements of the Advanced course with or without
the Train the Trainer module, depending on your school's needs.
